On Thursday, July 11th, 2024, we plan a guided tour to the Drachenfels (dragons rock). An icon of Rhine romance awaits you at the Drachenfels, a hill in the Siebengebirge uplands which offers a great view on the Rhine valley. Several legends surround the Drachenfels, most famously that Siegfried – the hero of the Nibelungenlied – killed the dragon Fafnir, who lived in a cave in the hill. Further down the hill, Drachenburg Castle can be visited. It is one of the most important castle buildings of the late 19th century in Germany.

We will have a Conference Dinner on Thursday, July 11th, 2024 in the evening at XYZ. In order to facilitate preparations for this evening, please indicate whether you plan to attend this event.
