WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
At the Ernst Ruska-Centre for Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Electrons (ER-C), we are excited to welcome you to our facilities in Germany for this hands-on course. In collaboration with Gatan, this event offers a unique opportunity to actively engage with peers and instructors in a classroom setting, learning best practices for setting up and optimizing your electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) studies. Our laboratories are fully equipped with a GIF Continuum® energy filter to support your training.
Topics include:
- Introduction to EELS
- GIF, EELS, and STEM-EELS acquisition
- EELS quantification and analysis
- 4D STEM acquisition and analysis
- STEM EELS acquisition and optimization
- Advanced EELS techniques
