The PICO Series

 

The ER-C hosts the PICO20XX Conference Series on Frontiers of Aberration Corrected Electron Microscopy. It addresses recent advances in methods and applications for the study of solids in condensed matter research and the life sciences by the application of advanced electron microscopy techniques.

 
PICO Conference Series

The PICO 20XX conferences are typically attended by approximately 150 participants and include 30 to 45 invited lectures, as well as contributions from the wider scientific community in the form of poster presentations. Proceedings of PICO 20XX conferences have been published as special issues in Ultramicroscopy. More information can be found here.
PICO 2022

The Seventh Conference on Frontiers of Aberration Corrected Electron Microscopy was held in spring 2022 as a hybrid event. As with previous PICO 20XX meetings, the conference addressed recent advances in methods and applications for the study of solids in condensed matter research and the life sciences by the application of advanced electron microscopy techniques.
