The plunge-frozen sample can be shipped to the ER-C or vitrified on-site using one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/er-c.org\/index.php\/facilities-2\/life-science\/cryo-electron-microscopy-facility\/cryo-em-instrumentation\/cryo-em-sample-preparation\/\">sample preparation devices<\/a>. Samples can be <a href=\"https:\/\/er-c.org\/index.php\/facilities-2\/life-science\/cryo-electron-microscopy-facility\/cryo-em-applications\/sample-visualization\/\">visualized initially<\/a> before high through put data collection is performed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We have solved structures of as small as 65 kDa globular protein (5 nm) to 20 nm wide fibrils (see images
